Matcha

The Matcha Project brings the immersive Japanese Tea Ceremony into a modern everyday experience by making it more accessible for young adults who appreciates Matcha green tea. This is done by integrating the material Matcha into the construction of this project and creating an everyday immersive experience where users are not only drinking the tea, but are constantly interacting with the material by touching, sitting on, and smelling it in a way that has never been done before. 

The creation of this seating environment that has been heavily inspired by the traditional Japanese Tea Ceremony, its aesthetics, and its historical and cultural background whilst chershing the sensory experience the material provides. 

This environment will also encourage socializing amongst the group of users as they interact with the product and its atmosphere.
